A Moment of Xen is a weekly show that airs every Saturday night on 710 WOR, the voice of New York/iHeartRadio.

Actress, model mentor, and supermom Xen Sams takes you on a wild ride as she brings everything film, fashion, pop culture, entertainment, and politics from the millennial mom‘s perspective. Her guests from all different communities and locations are coming on to share information and their stories. Tune in to get your MoMent of Xen!

About Xen Sams

Actress

Xen has aggressively trained to perfect her skills as an actress, she studied at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute in New York City, trained at Stella Adler in the Summer conservatory program and has been coached by Susan Batson, Joanna Beckson and Alice Spivak. Her love of being on stage turned into her Off-Broadway performance in “Bus Stop”, in the transformational role of Cherie (Gerald Lynch Theater). Thereafter, she went on to soap operas and indies ~ with credits such as Sandy in Casino Jack, alongside Kevin Spacey and Barry Pepper, and a fantastic performance as Sasha in “Push” alongside Chazz Palminteri. Finally, Xen went on to the biggest and most important role of all, MOTHERHOOD. After three beautiful years of raising Alexa, Xen is ready for a full time come back.

Model

Xen grew up between Montreal, Paris and Florida. By 18 years old, she signed with Nyc’s “Elite model Management”, under the late Monique Pillard. Xen was gracing fashion and print campaigns of corporate America’s elite. Appearing in TV commercials for Fructis Garnier, Nespresso, Mercedes Benz, BMW, Maybelline, Buffalo Jeans, Parasuco Jeans, Guess Jeans, and Pantene Pro-V to name a few. Through the strength of her compassionate voice, her articulate speech, her expert language skills and her very own unique way with people, Xen rose quickly and with much success in the modeling industry. Xen shot campaigns with photographers such as Patrick Demarchelier, Antoine Verglas and Sante D’Orazio. Appearing in international tv spots, spanning over a decade between Canada and the US.

Super Mom

Xen's passion for the arts and the industry transcends into her personal life and into ALL she does. She is an advocate for organic living and holistic remedies, especially for children. Xen is a Mentor to MANY. In her spare time (whatever of it that is left), Xen teaches the famous Masterclass at ENSEMBLE ARTISTS NYC. Taught to over 4,800 students over the past 6 years! As a result, compliments and phenomenal reviews with over 2,900 positive testimonials.
